WAR
War.It sounds terrible.We have learned history classes that at the end of this war we gained this territory or we lost that territoy.Beyond this explaination it means something terrible.It means blood, death, loss without any reason.I believe therecan not be any reason for war and for killing innoncent people.In the year 2003 Amerrica declared war against Iraq.Many people lost their lives, homes.Many children lost their parents.Infact many people were tortured.This year-2008 Russia bombed Georgia.Many people had to leave their homes recently Israel have been bombing Palestine.I have seen child's deadly body in a newspaper.Children are dyig and nobody does anything or can do.So what is the reason?why are they killing children?

2008

in the year 2008 there have been really important events in the world;election in America, war against Georgia, economic crisis and recently Palestina event...There were also important things and challenges in my life in the year 2008.For instance, the most important one was OSS, because it affected my life entirely.At the begining of 2008 I didn't know in which city I would live and in which universty I would study and towards the end of year big challenges of my life began.The year 2008 finished and 2009 began.New beginings ...Although I don't like beginings I hope 2009 will bring good things.

dejavu

Yesterday I watched Dejavu.It was a wonderful film, in my opinion.The plot is about destiny.A terrorist blows up a ship and about400 people dies.A woman also dies before the explosion.The terrorist steals her car.A group of scientist develops a machine.Thanks to the machine they can see and go past.A police inspector decides to past and prevent this attackAnd he accomplishes.Before seeing this film, I used to believe that there was a fixed destiny although we had choices.I thought we chose our destinies.That is, I thought our choices led us to our fixed destinies, but after I watched the film I began to believe that we can change our destinies somehow.I recommend everybody, especially ones who have confusion about destiny to watch this interesting film.

the seasion I like most

Autumn.The seasion of poets.For some it is romentic.But rather than romentic it has something about reality I think.The end.The end of everything.Each yellow leaf whishpers us that there is no eternal creature in the world.Apart from this reality I enjoy its colors.Yellow, orange, brown leaves on the roads....Autumn reminds me that winter is coming, but summer follows the spring.There is more beatiful seasion after spring, but after autumn there is winter.For this reason although I enjoy autumn my favourite seasion is spring with colorful flowers, with sense of rebirth and life,with nice scent of flowers.In this seasion every part of nature is full of live.Autumn doesn't relax me instead I am sad in autumn seeing nature's death.so the seasion is winter now the nature has died already and I am looking forward to see its rebirt-spring...

a friendship story

I don't clearly remember,but I think I was five or six years old when a new family mowed near our home.I used to have a few friend at that time.And our new neighbords' daughter wanted to become friend with us, but I didn't want I don't know why.Somehow she began to join us, but I didn't want her participating in our games.(her name is Zeynep). One day we were playing games.There was an old woman in our neighborhood.She had a dog.It was a black and terrifiying creature.It began to run towards us.I sprained my wrist and I fell.All of my friends run except for Zeynep.She helped me and from that moment she became my best friend.Our frienship had contiuned up to high school.She is in İstanbul now.However, I don't know how she is.I wish we became friends forever...

the secret world of animals

I have read an article about animals recently; it was really interesting.I just wanted to write a brief summary in my blog.There is a long history of animals being used to defend and protect us from Hannibal's elephants to guide days for the blind.But nowadays there is a hole new dimension to what animals can do- inculiding spying missions!The US Navy started using trained sae lions to protect their parts in 2000.They can see and hear extremely well underwater, and are able to detect enemy swimmers and sea mines.pigeons were extensively used as messengers in the two World Wards and were so important that UK citizens could't shoot them.They had two crucial qualities:they were able to find their way and could fly at great speed.A Balgian research group has trained rats to find lanmies in zones like Mozambique.The article contiunes with such interesting animal treats.

mutluluk

Mutluluk is one of my favorite films.There is also a book version.It was written by Zülfü Livaneli.The film is more impressive than others in some aspects.First of all the characters are good in that they have been chosen well to explain the concept of ''töre''.The characters and plot are matched appropriately.The film tells us that in our country some people can accuse innoncent people in other words they conceal their own faults by accusing people through ''töre'' maybe misunderstanding of it or abusing it delibaretely for their purposes.Apart from plot the cast is really good.Özgü Namal has excellent performance in this film.Besides telling people fixed ideas, rules''töre'' the film also has a love story itself between main characters.To sum up, I strongly advise you to watch it if you haven't watced it pu to now.
